Combustion Timing That Standard ECUs Cannot Handle

GDI engines inject fuel directly into the cylinder at high pressure and precise crank angles. A port-injection controller mapped for MPI cannot manage GDI combustion events — misfires and knock follow.

LyanteGAS GDI ECUs carry separate firmware builds per engine family. Injector maps, lambda targets, and ignition offsets are set during live-engine calibration runs — not derived from generic look-up tables.

Changan GDI — 1.5T Four-Cylinder

Firmware build CS-GDI-15T maps injector pulse width against direct-injection crank-angle windows. Lambda correction runs closed-loop via wideband O2. Tested across 3,000 km fleet operation before distributor release.

Verified knock-free at 92 RON LPG on stock Changan tune. No ignition retard required above 2,000 rpm under full load.

Chery GDI — ACTECO 1.6T

ACTECO's variable valve timing creates injection window conflicts at low load. LyanteGAS firmware applies a cam-phase offset table, resolving lean-misfire events documented in field reports from Latin American fleets.

Cold-start enrichment calibrated down to 5°C ambient. Wiring harness plug-and-play on Tiggo 5x and Arrizo 5 body variants.

SAIC Roewe i5 — 1.5T SGE

Geely Emgrand — 1.4T JLH

SGE engine's stratified charge mode requires injection suppression during gas operation. Firmware build RW-SGE-15 disables stratified mode via OBD-II intercept, switching to homogeneous charge for stable LPG combustion.

JLH-3G14TD's twin-scroll turbo demands boost-referenced injector scaling. LyanteGAS ECU reads MAP sensor data to scale gas injection duty cycle in real time — no flat fuel table trimming.
